Obsviously you are not the one that does grocery shopping? There is a shortage of rice and any flour based produce, food prices are going up like a rocket.

Japan went through years of starvation during and after the war, they worked hard to save the country and created these crops that grow faster than roaches. Years ago they have so much rice and crops that they end up having to burn them or simply don't harvest them because there were no room for storage

Japan's aid by releasing their oversocked rice will surely help ease the situation.

I find it quite ironic that Japan would send that many rice to the Phillipines to be honest, because most of the food Japan's poulation eats is imported, because they simply cannot produce enough food to feed everybody. They cannot really afford to export huge amounts of food they produce all the time, otherwise they would have to import masses of food from abroad.

But you are looking at "food" as a whole entity.... Rice is a different story, they have an overstock of white rice. Having a lot of rice doesn't mean you don't have to import food from other countries. Its not like the country is poor that they can only afford to eat rice

Wow, good job being a total douchebag...maybe the plight of thousands of hungry people doesn't mean much to you, but most people would be pleased that people actually have enough to eat
