There's also a guy who lives in the Parisian Airport Charles de Gaule and he can't leave because he lost his passport.

Sorry, it wasn't his passport that got lost (the person who gave me the information got it wrong, now I've searched and gpt it right), his refugee papers got stollen, he's been living there since 1988.

Anyway, the plot of the movie The Terminal appears to be inspired in this.

Japanese news (or at least bloggers, 2ch, etc) picked up on another aspect of this story.
The guy has the same name as Crayon Shin-chan`s father. People were coming up with all sorts of possible episodes featuring his dad ending up homeless in Mexico.

If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.

Aww man! I knew there was another joke in there somewhere! They'd deport me, but they'd have to drag me kicking and screaming

I believe thats what they call pure genius! Shin-Chan is the only show that would get away with it too!
