Well, it was not fun on 19th floor on a reclaimed land...
here is more info on quakes Japan Meteorological Agency | Earthquake Information Some of those 1000 quakes that took place from the 11th were aftershocks, whereas others were separate earthquakes. Usually, after a huge quake there is a possibility of following earthquakes of slightly lower magnitute. This one today was I think a follow up. It happened close to the 9.0 quake's epicentre, and recent quakes were "walking" around Tokyo. There is a great chance of a quake in Tokyo this year (7+) and possibly Fuji going off. If that happens, Tokyo could be covered in 1m + of ash. |
So has anyone died? Do we know yet?
|
I was about to take a bath when it hit us. It kinda sucks to have an earthquake when you are naked. Anyway, what's wrong with whole pacific area? Big one too had hit Mexico 2days ago,,,right? and Mt. Kilauea in Hawaii is still cracking up,,,right? We also had one in New Zealand in February. We also had one in Myanmar last month. I hope there will be no more victims of those disasters.

A few hours ago there was a report of 3 deaths. There wasn't much detail, but I believe they said all three were engineers. Could be they were working through some unstable debris - just a guess on my part, though.

in the news they said 2 deaths. 2 elderly people. one had stroke and the other had her oxygen ventilation stopped by power outtage.
