Unhappy Explosion sends man flying out of 5th floor apartment in Sapporo - 04-25-2007, 11:20 AM

Wednesday, April 25, 2007

An explosion sent a 29-year-old man flying out of his 5th floor apartment around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in Sapporo. Police said the man landed on the rooftop of the building next to his apartment. He suffered burns and head injuries.

Three other men suffered minor injuries from smoke inhalation. The police and fire department suspect a gas explosion in the man's apartment.

what a painful experience... ...well, it's good that he survived it with only minor injuries (i hope)...and flying in mid-air is an exhilarating experience...even if it's less than 10-30 seconds...although i'm sure that's not how the man would have wanted to fly...
