One of the factors to withdraw emergency declaration is now satisfied. Government must make critical decision.

Vaccine Inoculation has been started in Japan.

Vaccine just suppress the severe situation of COVID-19. But COVID virus still stays in every person and infection still lasts.

Even though 100% of Japanese people get vaccine, we all will still have the COVID virus with us. It is far from the complete situation to have Olympic in safe.

Cases found per day will decrease. But virus will still be there. Is this the situation we should aim ?

As of 20/Feb/2021, Cases in Tokyo(327) and in Japan(1234) are as follows.

Declaration of Emergency has been extended by two weeks for capital area (TOKYO, KANAGAWA, CHIBA and SAITAMA).

As for TOKYO, the number of cases seems to keep over 200. I mean It will be difficult to be under 200 within at least a month.

Expectations of the cases in TOKYO as of 5th/Mar.

As expected, we are having the fourth wave of COVID in Japan.

Does the two week extension of "Emergency Declaration" works ? No, no one believe it.

Also Japanese OIC decided to refuse foreign audience of Tokyo Olympic.

In April/2021, the cases increased in OSAKA. The situation is much severe than in TOKYO because of COVID-19 variant.

What is "MAN-BOU"? What is the difference between MAN=BOU and Emergency declaration?

MAN-BOU could be translated as "process to prevent epidemic spread of COVID-19". And it is requested by local government (prefecture) and approved by Japan government.
