Samokan, I found a nice site in English detailing Koya-san, including a list of all the temples that allow visitors to stay there:

Shukub

The site also offers suggested walking tours, maps, info on renting a bike, history, etc. Well worth taking a look!

This fast-food is primarly for lunch. - 01-19-2008, 10:42 PM

I will talk about fast-food restaurant in Japan.
First,about hamburgur shop.
You may think speaking of hamburgur,it's Macdonald.
Although some people in Asia area may already know it,
A hamburgur chain store named "モスバーガー" is in Japan:I call it "Mos" as the abbrebiation.

In general,Each price of food is more high than that of Mac.
It is said that Mos is particular about barkery.
Its flied potato is not crispy but fluffy.
It depends on individual taste that whether it is good or bad.
Among its side menus, personally,I love the flied onion ring.
Some burgurs contain tomato.
You should heed it if you hate tomato.

I suggest the "ライスバーガー".
the two sheets of rice plate do for the bread.
Don't you think it is Japan or Asia flavor?

I also like the "ロースカツバーガー".

I put the web page here, which are menu page and wikipedia.
Wiki will help you with the shop sign!

MOS BURGER
→I couldn't directly link here with menu page...
please clik the upper left characters-メニュー-.
