I have Questions! traveling from US to Japan - 01-21-2008, 08:51 PM

Alright ,hey everyone. This is my first thread on these forums. I'm 18 and im going to be traveling to japan fairly soon. I just have a couple questions.

so first question is: do you need id to use the cigarette vending machines?

if so. second question is: is it safe to bring cigarettes from the US into Japan?

third question: would it be smarter to carry it luggage or carry-on?

4th question: how strict is Japan with the 20 year age limit?

1) no (although that may change in the future if the stories are true)

2) yes, but check the customs allowance limit (usually 200 cigarettes I think?)

3) either

4) Probably not very... I see school kids smoking quite often

Traveling to Japan! - 01-24-2008, 04:13 PM

Hey everyone first time to this forum so, greetings. I'm graduating from highschool soon and am working on moving to Japan within the next few years, I plan on going to college here in America for language courses and such but I need some help on financial stuff like, jobs and things I don't know what I will do once I get to Japan, well I wanna work on my anime there but I probably will have to wait on that till I can start saving Okeni or something.
