why on earth would you want to come here just for shopping? You can get pretty much everything you want in other countries from import stores...

Seems a huge waste of a trip if that is all you want to visit Japan for imo

As for the language, get a language tutor - that is the only way you will learn

You don't have an interest to see the country and everything? Then why not just point out to your dad some mail-order clothes and stuff that you want, and save the money for airfare, hotels, etc?

Who yelled at you?

We just expressed surprise at your motives...

And anyway, you only asked a single question which I answered

What the hell are you guys talking about? Japan is the major fashion producer on the other side of the world. Girls run around who looking like supermodels ^___________^ *deep in thought* . . . If your going for style and glamour I would suggest somewhere near shibuya or what was that other placed called where all the otakus go?. They have alot of good cloths and fun gaming arcades, just travel around and do all the fun stuff they have. I don't know much japanese but I can give you some key words that they will say but most of the time if they know your american then they talk in english.

Nobody said otherwise but, the fact is you can get most Japanese styles in other countries. It's certainly true in London, England anyway - there are plenty of import fashion stores...

Going to a regular K-mart store is different from actually traveling to japan its just a party trip.
