The JK Line Hydrofoil is an ultra-fast hydrofoil service beetwen Fukuoka and Pusan.
The journey which takes just three hours costs about US$120 single, and US$220 return.

but knows someone where can I get seat availability and book online a ticket ?

This is a site with ferrys to and from Japan: Randy's 'Favorite Getaways in Rural Japan' -- INTERNATIONAL FERRIES
here is the link to the (fast) Ferry from Hakata to Pusan
Beetle English
One way fare is 13 000 円 and it takes 3 hours. (round trip 20 000 - 24 000)
There is also an overnight ferry from Hakata to Pusan
http://www.kampuferry.co.jp/ (japanese only) fare is 9 000 円
There is also a link from Shimonoseki to Pusan, for the overnight ferry ist 8 500 円
http://www.kampuferry.co.jp/ (japanese ONLY)

So it seams the fast ferry is a pretty good deal and has got an English homepage. But i´d rather take the overnight ferry for 9000 or the overnight first class for 10 000 - 12 000), i think its gonna be a special experience

Hm well thats difficult
you could try this site Transportation - Sea - International Ferries and call the phone number there (or write a mail) and hope that someone speaks english. Otherwise i would go to a Tourist Information or get somebody who speaks Japanese to book it for me.
Theres also this page Official Site of Korea Tourism Org.: Ferry Terminals wich has some Phonenumbers, but its from Korea, so you can maybe only book Korea -> Japan and not the other way.....
Well, good luck anyways, thats the best i could do without beeing able to read Japanese
No seriously, ive just stumbled over the page (the first Link in the first post) and got all Information from there.

I usually just turn up for ferries, unless it's a really popular holiday they usually have places. The Hakata-Pusan one I've never had any problems with.

Some of them even over book and still let you on, I once tried to book an economy bed from Shikoku to Osaka but they were full, was told to sleep anywhere so spent the night in the first class lounge!

Be genki,

Richard
