Red face Any good advice when visiting Japan? - 07-15-2008, 05:22 PM

Hi! I'm from Sweden and me and some friends are going to Tokyo in April (yes, it's a long wait^^) and I'm wondering if someone has any good advice on stuff to think about? Practical things, things to do/not to do and so on..

Oh, and I've heard somewhere that it's a good idea to hide your tattoos? Is that true? Because all of us has big ones on our arms =P

Tattoo culture is different in Japan, and so you many not be able to enter some public baths or hot springs.

Please look around these forums, as your other general question is covered weekly if not daily.

Reptiles have silly grins
Dark eyes--shiny teeth--some have fins
