Tokyo Fine Dining - 10-22-2008, 10:23 AM

I just realized I am going to be in Tokyo with my girlfriend on our 5th anniversary of being together so I wanted to take her somewhere special for dinner that night. I have a short list of places that look/sound nice so your comments on these places + any others you might know would be great. I prefer a Japanese restaurant or fusion Japanese.

Higashi-Yama (Meguro)
Restaurant Tanga (Minato)
Beige (Ginza)(does this place live up to it's reputation?)
Galali (Aoyama)
Citabria (Aoyama)
Sens & Saveurs (Marunouchi)

I am not going to be there until March '09 so any places with crazy waiting lists, i.e. Beige, are OK! Also I will be based in Ueno at this time.

I don't think you could go wrong with any of these Tokyo restaurants given Michelin three stars in the 2008 Guide - Dining Guide in Tokyo
