How old were you the first time you went to Japan?

I was 15, I believe, when I first went to Japan. Sadly, it was just a stop at the Tokyo airport to transfer to another plane on my way to Taiwan DX So, I ended up not being able to leave the airport... -.-;;

We went because Gramma is 88 and wanted to see Kumamoto again (she was born there, and left for Hawaii when she was four years old). It was a bit of a whirlwind but she got herself into a few hot springs and we found the shrine that Ba-chan was listed at, so she was happy and so were we!

I'm going back as soon as I can save up enough to go! :D

22. But I acted like I was 12! Hisashiburi naa Nihon...

I was 31 when I went for the first time. I finally have a good job where I can afford nice vacations.

I'll be 22 by the time I go as part of my degree next year :D

I went when I was 18 with my family and had lots of fun. I'm 19 now but i'll be 20 when i go again(this time by myself), finally to the drinking age, hehe..joking, i don't really like alcohol that much.

i was 17. ^-^

Frakking lucky people, I'll also be going when I'm 21 as a part of college. Hopefully I won't be considered "old" by then.
