Travel Recomendations? - 01-05-2009, 06:16 PM

I want to go to Japan in a few years, but I need to make a travel plan. Are there any places you guys think I should go? Maybe somewhere near Tokyo.

Well, what do you want to see when you go over? Many different parts of Japan offer different things.

Start in Osaka. It is in the middle of all the great places to see. Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Himeji are all close by. You can take a bus or train to Tokyo or other places if you want.

Second that. Osaka is closer to most sites with "real" tradition. Though you don't want to miss Yokohama and Akihabara (Beside Tokyo)
