A question: Can all of you who want to go to Japan speak japanese`? Vesperd you are my age can you it too?

I can speak enough to find my way around, but iv just not got the cash for lessons at the moment.
I find it easiest to order at the bars though:p

I will save my money for year or so and then I will go to Japan and try to come around with bad english xD

Heya. Just joined up, since I'll be spending a lot of time in Japan in the near future. *_* I'm leaving about the time I finish grad school, which will be around next September. I'll be there for at least a year teaching English. :) I haven't been to Japan in a couple of years, so I'm dying to get back there and get reacquainted with teh things I left behind. ^^

Hey everyone (im new :D ) Me and two friends are planning to go in September, we got to do alot of planning, hoping to stay for 2 weeks in Tokyo or near Tokyo, We are going out this weekend to find the cheapest holday package or if we cant fins a cheap one we are going to book every thing seperate.

I'm going June 19 to July 3rd. 87 days from now to be exact.

My friend went July of 2005 with a group of ninjas. A teacher at the high school we went to teaches Bujinkun Ninjitsu here, and every year they take a trip to Japan to train with Soke Masaaki Hatsumi.

At the time I didn't have the money, nor a job. However, I have been saving, after I bought my car. So now I will finally get to visit Japan.

I recently sent my stuff in for my passport, now I need to purchase the ticket. I pray everyday that everything works out. :)

I plan to go to Japan after finishing College b/c I want to take part in tthe Jet programme but I also would like to visit before I go for that long of a duration.

April 2008 with one of my best friends. Should be phenomanawesome!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I will be there in winter, January 2008. Can't wait!!

I will go to Japan in the next year to further my studies in electrical eng. It would really great to meet you there..

If you're only going to Japan for a holiday (not working while there) and for less than I think 60 days, you don't need a visa.

EDIT; Scratch that, just found out that was for Australian passport holders, sorry!

Sounds great that alot of people are travelling to Japan next year.. maybe we can organize something if there are enough people visiting the same area.. around the same time.. I am going to Tokyo for 4 weeks in July-August. I will study Japanese in Shinjuku while living with a homestay family. Im really excited, but also nervous because I dont really know what to expect. No doubt it will be one hell of an experience ! :D
