I'm going to Japan for 3 weeks (and Hong Kong for a week) this July. Whilst I'm there I'll be turning 18, so will a fake ID be necessary to drink?

Also has anyone been to the Nachi fire festival on the 14th of July?

I am going to Tokyo in Oct/Nov 2008. Does anyone know of any events of interest I can plan my trip around. I think the Auto Show is going on then? Any other events? Appreciate any info.

I´m planing to go to Japan next year or so, my grand cousin lives there so i will stay at him (and save the money for the hotel ;D ) and may he can show me some nice places in and around tokyo... my parents says i should stay 1or2 weeks in china or a neighbor country too, because i won´t have often the chance to go to asia

I'm going to Japan in January or March next year, because that's when my Japanese language/culture study starts

Today.

I leave for the airport in about an hour or so. My flight leaves at 11:45am from here to Detroit, then at 2:30pm from Detroit to Narita Airport. Pray that everything goes well for me.

Visited Japan in 2007.

I am female.

My wife and I haven't made a decision yet but we're going either during the spring or summer breaks for Japanese schools. That way we get to spend more time with our nephew.

Personally I'm holding out for spring break I'll have a better chance to see the cherry blossoms again
