That is interesting ! Thanks for sharing ! Tokyo is a huge city with many districts, must of been one crowded map. That is if it's detailed or simple.

I think google maps has a satellite-type view option.

Google streetview has been around for a while... especially in the US and Japan.

If you look around, you'll find some interesting scenes. Like a frame by frame capture of the Google streetcam running over a deer, girls flashing the camera, buildings on fire, etc.

As for Japan, I've retraced many of my walking adventures using Streetview. Definitely brought back some good memories...

That's pretty useful, but it's also scary to know that they can do things like that... dunno, I don't trust Google.

This is ridiculous- who the hell took the time to do this, just so it could be free?

More power to em', I suppose

Oooh, interesting!

Has anyone used this much? Is there any interesting streets that you can view?
I tried looking at takeshita-dori in Harajuku, but I could only look at it from another street, not actually go into the street itself.
