I'm going to be traveling to Tokyo when TGS (Tokyo Game Show) is on, during the public days in hopes that I can attend. Does anyone know when the tickets are sold, or where I can buy them? I was told that last year they were sold from vending machines in convenience stores, but after viewing the website, it sounds more like you buy tickets at the door. Can anyone shine some light on this for me?

At the box office on site. 1,200 yen per day.

Do you know if they sell out quickly, or what time is good to get there for? I really don't want to miss it.

I dont think I've ever heard that they sell out so quickly. But just to be on the safe side, you might want to go in before or around noon. Gates close at 4:00 anyways.

They don't sell out quickly? Really? I would've thought that one of the bigger game conventions of the year would be super popular!

I've never heard it to sell out either, much like E3 used to be.

Be warned though there will be TONS of people there and lots of lines for hands on stuff.
