Japan Politics Essay Help, Please! - 10-06-2009, 03:26 AM

I'm not sure if I put this in the right place, so feel free to move it if it's not.

I am in real need of help! I have to write a 5-page essay for university comparing and contrasting the U.S. and Japan, and I can't seem to find the info anywhere. I'm not asking for answers, please don't give them, I am just asking that someone please point me in the right direction to find these answers. Like, links and such.

I must examine the history of how both (U.S. and Japan) formed (as democracies), the theoretical principles that guided each, and the institutions that are important to each. I must explain what role political socialization and participation play in each, and what the political leadership is like.

Will someone please help me?

You answered your own question! Run a google on these phrases:

"differences between USA and Japan"
"how USA was formed"
"history of USA government"
"how Japan began"
"history of Japanese government"
"Japanese government after WWII"

For starters. Read a few articles that come up from each and you will then have a wealth of information to work from. Good luck!
