I forgot about the FAQ site -

Now I'm discoureged about doing my own guide I'll have to make more specific information guides and not so generalized...Like,
How to get a guest hotel: Step 1: unbuckel seatbelt when the airplane comes to a copmplete stop Step 2: Wink at the Japanese stewardess as you exit the airplane Step 3 Race everyone to the lugagge turn table so you can all wait together for 30 minutes while you eagerly wait to watch bags drop from the shoot onto the roundabout thingy Step 4: Sweat while waiting to see the custom guy who is gonna decide weather you are a terorist or not and let you into Japan Step 5: Do step 4 before Step 3 Step 6: sweat again while a custom guy searchs your bags for illegal uncensored porn. Step 7: WELOCME TO JAPAN ...Wholly whipper smakers there are alot of people here this is chaos...hey shes cute Step 8: concentrate you need to get on a train now. Step 9: look for a booth that says SkyLiner cause this is a quick fairly resonably priced train to get you to the city quickly. Unless you wanna sit in a bus for another 1.5hours after your nice 10-15hour plane ride. Step 10: say "konichiwa" (Hello) to the cute girl smiling at you at the SkyLiner booth Step 11: after she replies to you "jafhjdhjsajh jashdjfh shafjkdh" say: "Hitori nippori made" ( 1 person to nippori - no that is not nipple its a station name) Step 12: Look at your ticket for a time thats when your train leaves look for another time beside that thats when you will arrive. Step 13: Look at your watch. Do you have to run to catch your train? Step 14: Follow the signs for the trains and more specifacly the SkyLiner they will be in Englsih and Japanese and now Korean and Chinese. to be continued... Mabye thats a good idea for my guide what do you think? |

¬¬...its a little too detailed, no? with the unbuckling of seatbelts and whatnot.
actually, it might not a bad thing. o_O; (quick to change aren't i? lol) even if its extremely detailed to the point of unbuckling seatbelts...it gives the reader a sense of confidenc that they'll know everyting they need. i mean..if the person goes as far to write unckle seat belts before getting off the plane...xD Om Sat-chit–ananda Parabrahma
Purshothama Paramathma Sri Bhagavati Sametha Sri Bhagavate Namaha ![]() Whenever you chant the Vedic Mantra even without knowing the meaning of it - it still carries power. The mantra has the power to heal, awakens the divine presence in your heart, gives states of cosmic consciousness and cures many diseases. Activating the Ajneya Chakra and Sahasrara Chakra, one can experience deep states of inner peace, tremendous joy and heightened awareness. |

01-05-2007, 02:21 AM
I've been dying to go to Japan. I can only take two weeks off from work. Any suggestions on where i can go at such short time. Help will be very much appreciated. And oh...how much on average would be the daily cost.

Depends on what you want to see. If I had two weeks in Japan, I would go to Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima stopping at different tourist traps along the way. I would say a budget of around 10,000 yen a day or a little more is appropriate depending where you stay and what sort of food and drink you are consuming. This doesn't include travel expenses. You could get by for less, but I don't know. I tend to spend a lot on vacations. For example two nights stay for 6,000 yen plus 10,000 in train fares plus 8,000 in lift tickets plus 4,000 in food then 10,000 in beer was my New Year's vacation in Hakuba snowboarding. That is almost 40,000 yen for a weekend trip or 350 US dollars, but I was planning for it all month.
