Trip next summer to Kyoto - Suggestions!

Next summer my fiance and I will be going to Osaka and Kyoto for our honeymoon. This is my second time to these areas (and Japan in general) and will be her first.

Last time I was in Osaka I was just there for the airport and the first night. I didn't see anything outside of just walking around town =/

I really have no idea where we should go in Osaka, but we wanted to take the train to Kyoto for some sights there as well. We will be in Japan for a total of 7 days, not including the first part day there and the returning day. We will of course be going to 金閣寺 but I'm not too sure beyond that. I would greatly appreciate some suggestions by those people who either live in Japan or have been to the area. Keep in mind that we will only be traveling to Kyoto but staying the entire trip in a hotel in Osaka.

Thanks!

Kyoto (2-3 days):

Kiyomizu-dera
Nijo Castle
33-gendo
Ginkakuji
Kokedera
Katsura Villa
Arashiyama
Fushimi Inari
Shugakuin Villa
Dinner at Pontocho

Nara (1 day):

Todaiji Temple
Horyuji Temple
Nara Park
Kasuga Taisha

Osaka (1-2 days):

Osaka Aquarium
Minami
Umeda
Shinsekai
National Museum of Art

Kobe (1 day): If you have lived inland most of your life, you might like this city for a change.

Kitano
Chinatown (small-scaled but still)
Mount Rokko (gorgeous view around sunset)
Arima Onsen (onsen open to day-trippers)

Mount Koya (1 day):

Should be a nice change from what is basically going to be a city life around Osaka.

If you can squeeze it in, the Heian shrine in Kyoto is gorgeous and Nishiki food market is a lot of fun.

did the same thing earlier this past year. For osaka u got to go to spa world, really nice and relaxing

kyoto, i really enjoyed kiyomizudera, be sure to go underneath and make a wish

and Eiga mura was really fun, old japanese movie town.

Bring very light, breathable clothing. Kyoto is usually a few degrees hotter than Osaka in the summer, and there are lots of hills and stairs.

I feel like making a collection of your biggest pieces of hate. Recommending a website that looks cool is fine. This is comical.
