I'm going with my sister in May, I'm so excited that I'm finally getting to do this. I've wanted to go since I was 13, and I'm glad that this is a dream of mine that I'm actually going to get to live out.

This is what I thought, I thought you'd need me. This is what I thought, so think me naive. I'd promise you a heart you'd promise to keep. Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep. AFI- "Prelude 12/21"

I went in January for 2 weeks, mainly staying in Fukuoka/Hiroshima, and am going back in Aug-Sept for a month. Haven't been North of Tokyo yet so will be jumping around there, Hokkaido, walking up Mt.Fuji and hitting Tokyo hard this time Oh, and having a drunken Friday night in Hiroshima at some point too

I am super late to this party, but then again, I just found this forum today! Yes, I will be going to Japan in September of 2010, as an exchange student. I've just completed my second year at my home university, and I'll be attending Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto for a full year! My main purpose is to learn Japanese - my Japanese level is decent, maybe partly through JLPT 2 (I finished An Integrated Approach to Intermediate Japanese). I definitely have a lot more learning to do, so I will try my best when I am abroad!

I'm moving to Tokyo next month. I'll be there for at least the next two years finishing up my degree and possibly MBA at Temple University, Japan Campus.

I'm not too thrilled about it moving to Japan right now, but we'll see how it goes.
