Tokyo Hotels - 09-20-2010, 10:30 AM

Hello!

It looks like I'll be getting two weeks vacation before
starting my new job and I'm thinking, why not go to Tokyo?

Can anyone recommend a decent price / cheap hotel
for this season, end of september/beginning of october?
My favorite areas are Shibuya, Ebisu/Daikanyama but other
suggestions are welcome.

Planetickets are fairly cheap atm and if I can find a hotel
that's not too expensive, it looks like I'm going!

These look very cheap $$.

Travelling as a couple, would you recommend any particular hotel on that list? As of now, we ware planning to stay at Shinjuku Prince. But, for the price, we might consider one of these!

I strongly recommend Shinjuku Prince^^
because... though these hotels is very cheap, they are like old flat. If you have money, you should choice Shinjuku Prince. It has a great service and wonderful night view. furthermore,Sinjuku is located in a center of Tokyo, so you can visit anywhere more easily.

that's why I recommend it.

Everything was perfect and an ideal location

If you stay with them don't bother packing toiletries, SERIOUSLY ! you get everything thrown in for free.

Well I'm happy to say that I booked the trip today.
Managed to find a pretty sweet deal (and a nice hotel, I hope) and
I'm leaving for Tokyo on monday morning.

If anyone is there next week and wanna get together, please say hello

Anyone have any info to help me decide between Shiba Park Hotel and Shinjuku Washington Hotel for a all too short trip to Tokyo? Cost is nearly the same and the info on the net was so basic that I'm having trouble deciding.

I personally wouldn't want to stay anywhere near Roppongi, also the Washington slightly edges out Shiba Park in reviews.
