Do you go sightseeing after it goes to friend's house?
It leaves one's luggage for the coin-operated locker at the station and it goes sightseeing.
Loss of two hours is Taim though it goes to friend's house to put luggage.

As soon as I went to my friend's house. I want to either go Visit Shibuya or Harajuku depending on time.

If I understand right, going to my friend's house is a lost of time?

Thanks for the Monkey Park, I didn't know it was unique.
You have six temples or shrines in three days. I think you could could at least two, and not feel like you missed much. Again, I don't know what your priority is, but that's just me. Kyoto isn't that big, and at least some of these places are within walking distance to each other. Kiyomizu is maybe an hour. Same with Kinkakuji, and, in my opinion, they are the two most stunning on your list.

I am not sure where you are from, but any monkey park, where you are walking among the monkeys out in the open, would be unique for me.

Thanks again MMM.

Arashiyama seem really interesting when searching more about it!

For Kyoto(again)

-Kinkakuji
-Kiyomizudera
-Tetsugaku no Michi (Ginkakuji, Honenin,Heian Shrine)
-Nishikikoji Dori
-Kyoto Station
-Arashiyama

Imperial Palace/Sento Gosho worth viewing?

Fushimi Inari Shrine, Daigoji Temple, Toji Temples were deleted. I would replace them with Arashiyama. Better choice?

How long do you take to walk from Kyoto Station to Kiyomizudera? (Just trying to figure out the distance scale on my maps)

Thanks again

I have done the walk a couple times, and it is less than an hour. Again, people say I am crazy, but I have spent the same amount of time waiting for buses to get there, and I like to be on the move.

Arashiyama is a neat area, and I bet you will like it. I think your new schedule looks good, but please don't take my word for it.

I don't think I have been to Imperial Palace/Sento Gosho, so I can't say for sure.

Hey everyone!
Worked on my itinerary for the past 2-3 weeks and I think pretty close to be done. I want to thanks everyone for there help! Really appreciated.

Here's what it look like. If you see any flaws or have comment about it, feel free to do so!

Saturday, May 14th
-Land in Japan in Haneda Airport at 22h45. Will take a bus or a taxi to go to Toyoko Inn Haneda 2 to sleep there.

Sunday, May 15th
-Take the earliest train to Bubaigawara Station to meet my friend. It's the place where I'll sleep while I'll be in Tokyo. As soon as it's done
-Shibuya(AM) - Harajuku (PM) - Shinjuku(Night)
(This is the one of the few fix day I have since I want to see Harajuku on a Sunday)

From Monday 16th to Thursday 19th (No order)
-Asakusa(AM) - Ueno(PM) - Akihabara (Night)
-Tsukiji(Breakfast) - Motegi Twin Ring(PM) - Free
-Korakuen(AM) - Tokyo(PM) - Ikebukuro(Night)
-(Side Trip): Fuji Five Lakes

Friday, May 20th
-(Side Trip): Yokohama
Take the day (AM-PM) to visit Yokohama, afther I take the Shinkansen via Shin-Yokohama to go to Osaka. Take the evening/Night with my other friend from Osaka.*(See at the end of the post)

From Saturday 21st to Friday 27th
-Osaka (1 day)
-Nara (1 day)
-Kyoto (3 day)
-Miyajima (1day)
-Okayama (1day)

(Thinking to sleep in a Ryokan in Miyajima, worth it?)

Take the Shinkansen again back to Tokyo on the 27th Evening.

Saturday 28th
Free in Tokyo

Sunday 29th
Free in Tokyo, need to be at Narita Airport for 4 or 5pm. Heading back to Canada.

* What I wanted to say is that I"ve put my "Kyoto trip" in the middle of the Tokyo one for purpose. I didn't to have a city/electronic/crowed first week and shrine/temples/garden only for the last one. That's the main reason the two last day are in Tokyo. (Hope you understand what I mean)

Does it sound good?

Now for the next questions regarding my preparation for my trip.

-I have all the train schedule from Hyperdia.
(I have to check back because it change in Marsh if I remember right)
-I have the opening hour and fees for all of my attractions
-I'm learning basic Japanese by myself (it's fun!)

What other things should I do/see/check before my trip?

(Note: It's my first trip ever, thanks)

Thanks again!
