Hiroshima-Okayama-Miyajima - 04-13-2011, 03:51 AM

Hey folks,

I have a quick questions for you. I would like to know if I can do those in one day (Will sleep in Miyajima)

From Osaka (Early Morning)->Okayama Castle+Korakuen Garden(AM)-> Hiroshima Peace Park with Nom Nom at Okonomi-Mura(PM)-> Miyajima (Itsukushima) for sunset, if too late, will be there for sunrise the next day before heading back.

Is it too much or I should split this in 2 days?

First I wasn't suppose to stop at Hiroshima and hadn't planned to sleep in Miyajima. So Okayama and Miyajima took 2 day (Lots of train time)

(I'm trying to save on train time to replace it with "Japan Travel" time )

Thanks in advance for your answer!

For someone that likes to be on the move constantly. Personally, I would do two days (or a day and a half) but I don't like running around. I am not saying Masaegu is wrong, just it is pretty busy.

I spent 1 1/2 days seeing Hiroshima and Miyajima, not including Okayama. Personally, I'd make it 2 days if you really want to spend time seeing the places rather than running between them. Also, staying on Miyajima itself can be expensive and it's frequently booked up. Do you already have rooms reserved? I stayed in Hiroshima instead, plenty of cheaper places to stay there.
