Kakogawa Information - 05-17-2011, 03:17 PM

Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone has been to Kakogawa, Japan. I will be moving there in about 2 weeks and was wondering how the town was. What is there to do? I was also wondering how long it would take to get to Kyoto by train or bus? I have a few friends there and would like to visit them sometime.

Thanks for any info you have!,

it's like 50 minutes from Kobe, if I remember, which is about 50 minutes from Kyoto, so within 2hrs you could be in Kyoto...

It's a quiet place, relatively speaking, but it's got all the typical amenities, karaoka, izakaya, etc and plenty of people,

I imagine you'd be going into Kobe for fun though... or Himeji, but my friends in Himeji go to Sannomiya for fun so maybe not lol
