Canadians don't need a visa, they get a landing permit up to 90 days. That's enough for the hotel.

One more thing, does anyone know where I can purchase a ticket online for the Ghbli Museum? I know you have to book it early but I'm not sure how early...

JTB-Ghibli Museum <Only JTB Canada>

You can give them a call. I don't think they accept reservations online. You have to give them the date you wish to go and maybe even the time of day, as I recall there may be a time limit for the visit.

You can order the tickets 3 months in advance....

I actually heard if you're from out of the country you can get a ticket that is for a specifc day but not time. That's kind of what I was hoping for if it's true. But at the same tme, I could be wrong, I don't really know much about it. But I do know I've heard of people who got a ticket that they could get around going at a specific time.
