Phoning Europe from Japan - 06-03-2007, 09:02 PM

Hello again

Has any of you ever used a Brastel International Phonecard? I would like to phone my family in Europe when I'm in Japan and was wondering whether it's the only card you can use. Also, is it possible to buy Japanese SIM-card to go with my English mobile? Will appreciate any suggestions.

there are other phonecards available.
No Japan does not sell sim cards only.

Maybe you can activate your international roaming when you are here. Or you can get a Softbank( vodafone ) prepaid phones.

Are you using Vodafone?

If you will have a laptop and internet access, just use Skype for your international calls. It's very cheap to call from Japan to the Europe on SkypeOut!
