Question Bus, etc. when arriving in Japan - 11-19-2014, 12:05 AM

I plan to arrive in Japan around mid January and will be living and working in Tokushima, on the island of Shikoku.

I am thinking I will arrive at Kansai International Airport instead of Tokushima Airport because it sounds like it would be cheaper. From there, it looks like I would have to take a bus to get to Tokushima. I've been trying to find information online, but it seems like so many things are geared toward tourists instead of people who are planning to live in Japan. I found a couple bus websites but I can't seem to find any that give me routes from Oosaka to Tokushima, even though the map on the page I was looking at (Highway Buses in Japan) seems to clearly show that buses run from Oosaka to Tokushima. Where can I find a place to look at this?

What I seem to of been given the impression of is that in Japan I may need to buy my tickets in advance. I had been thinking I would just buy a ticket when I got to the airport, but do I indeed need to buy my tickets ahead of time? This could make it a little harder to since this my first trip to Japan and I don't know how long it's going to take me to get through customs and everything at Kansai Airport.

If you live in Colorado, please come visit Japanese Hope Mountain Family Church! Even if you aren't a Christian, please try it. It's a great place where you can meet very nice people and speak lots of Japanese.ウェブサイトをご覧して下さい!

I have just heard they have auto ticket vending machine and English speaking staff at the bus station in Kansai airport. You just need Japanese Yen to buy the ticket.
