Do AFS. You can apply this year and go next year, provided you're still in Highschool.

Hi! - 08-06-2007, 08:55 AM

You will really love Japan if you ever get over here!

I love taking Pictures of Japan. I love Japan, do you? Check out my Okinawa Pictures. Okinawa is home, a small little island in Japan.

There is CCI, AFS, AFU, Intrax, or there is the option of going to a International boarding school in japan. I'm going through the very same process. Any questions PM me.

You could always apply for a summer course in a language school in Japan. They offer monthly courses, which cost around 100,000yen, and usually provide cheap and safe accomodation in a dormitory/campus (count another 100,000yen for the accomodation).
This is IMHO the safest and best way to study in Japan, expecially if you have little knowledge of japanese.
