Japanese School Teacher?
 

um...I want to be an english teacher in Japan but I need to know more about the country first...~help?:confused:

What is it about Japan that you want to teach english there? :)

No matter what you learn in textbooks, from Japanese people, or from people actually in Japan and on this forum, you won't really "know about Japan" until you actually get here. Then the longer you stay, what you thought in the beginning will not be how you feel in the end. It is best just to come over knowing nothing but the language. Makes it more of an adventure.

Well said, but I still think if you know the basics of spoken language it would be helpful.

I did read it, its an adventure if you can speak only a little japanese too.... it was for me..:o

He is saying at LEAST know the language, if nothing else...(unless I am reading it wrong). No big deal...
