Feb 08 trip to Tokyo - 11-15-2007, 01:57 PM

Konnichiwa!

I'm now planning for my Feb 08 trip to Tokyo! Reason for being there is I'm attending L'Arc~en~Ciel's live in Tokyo and also I've always wanted to visit Japan!

I understand it'll still be winter over there and could really use some advice on winter attire cos I'm from Singapore and have also never ever been to any country during winter time.

I'm also looking for reasonable air+accom deals, any suggestions...?

And of course itinerary wise, besides the well-known areas like Shinjuku and etc, are there any other places I should really think about visiting? I'm also pondering if I should pop by Kyoto for a night or two but the truth is I'll only be in Japan for 7 days so I'm concerned if that'd be stretching my schedule a bit.

Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Thanks in advance!

going to Kyoto will kill a day or 2, so you'll be stretched for time and stretching your budget.

Latest update in plan: not going to Kyoto but going on a day trip to Nikko instead. Does Nikko run regular trains back to Asakusa? Would not want to get stuck there too late!
