im a 1000% christian, going to all types of christian churches, also buddhist temples too. living for more than 3 years now, having the time of my life .. is that proof enough???

BTW, I highly respect the Japanese and do not think any such things of them. They are sophisticated and quite capable of making food without scavenging for it. Although, I respect your opinion.

If you were deciding to travel to Japan during the 17th century then you would be in trouble For these reasons:

Under Tokugawa Hidetada's rule:
- In 1614, an edict was issued that prohibited the practice of christianity in
Japan
- In 1621, 2 Spanish friars were killed.
- In 1622, Christians were publicly burned or beheaded in Japan.

Under Tokugawa Iemitsu's rule:
- In 1623, Iemitsu celebrated his rise to power by ordering Christians burned
at the stake in Edo.
- Between 1633 and 1639, Nagasaki commissioner were ordered to investigate
anyone suspected of being Christians. Rewards were also offered to anyone
who provided the location of foreign priest.

However, as Gkgoten1000 and MMM has mentioned, this doesn't happen in modern day Japan. So, go to Japan and enjoy.

i didnt have time to read thru all of this but did any one mention they have christian and luthern and all types of churches right in Tokyo?? theres a Luthern church right in leggo park in Roppongi
