speaking of tea ceremonies, how much tea is consumed in one ceremony? just a little cup? I have 2-3 pots of tea a day so.... wouldn't it be embarrassing if i were asking for more tea when everyone else doesn't?

Common misconception.

The tea used in tea ceremonies is MUCH thicker and bitterer than the regular green tea we drink on a daily basis. You couldn't take more than a few sips of it even if you wanted.

i heard the tea is very bitter? i never taste it but

the tea ceremony indeed quite a stiff one, a respected one. dont mind it if u r not used to it. if i ever had one, my leg probably hurt even before tasting the tea.
