How many people have been to japan?

Just wondering how many people have actually been or live in japan? seems most of the people on these forums are either going or haven't been to japan?

Been there last year for a month of tourism and to meet relatives I never met before.
I've never been mad for japanese culture, now I love it and the people.
One of the best experiences of my life.

i lived in 滋賀県 (shiga-ken) and studied in 京都 (kyoto). I'm currently in Australia but will be returning to japan in a matter of months and won't be leaving there again for quite a few years.
