Bugati maybe? that bike looks sweet although i bet you get all kinds of weird looks out riding

Kenta21 12-15-2007 11:57 PM

Wont the heat of the exhaust over time mess up the paint on the muffler ?

Kanji_The_Wanderer 12-16-2007 03:03 PM

Hey man, that is really awesome. Do you do this for a living painting bikes? If not, you really should. The color and detail you illustrate is amazing....Definitely a lot better then some people I see on television and such who think they are amazing because they painted the side of a car...

Two questions: About how long did that take you to do, and how did you get the bike to stand up like that without falling over?

forgotenmemory 12-17-2007 11:23 PM

I wanna have a bike like that.

pyro8907 12-17-2007 11:35 PM

That's a crazy bike dude. What kind is it? How did you get it to stand on it's side? :vsign:

typesblur 12-17-2007 11:54 PM

hey did u use stencils for the true fire? that turned out sick. haha if i get big over on the west coast i might be hittin u up for a job offer :mtongue: how long u been airbrushin?

airbrushjohn 12-21-2007 04:49 AM

hey thanks everyone for the kind words!

Kanji, yes i do paint for a living, and i am also a photographer.
and i made it a stunt bike, you know wheelies and stuff, the bar on the back keeps it from falling over, it is called a 12 bar, for the term 12 o'clock wheelie.

typesblur, i start out freehand then just use a freehand stencil, just to get some sharp edges.

Kenta21, no it actually doesn't get that hot to burn off, i use a pretty good primer sealer, the only problem i had is, i didn't have the correct holder, and had to use a peice of rubber hose, and thats the only place it kinda messed up.

Picture2Perfect, its a 2003 honda 954, its all stock, it only has about 125 hp,
but it has about 55-60 foot pounds of torque, it not fast but very quick, i went up 9 teeth on the rear sproket for slow wheelies!

and again, thank you everyone for the kind words! john
