its very interesting...

it makes me ask questions..

why does she look so cowed..?
why is she wearing shoes but he is not?
why has she got blood (?) on her hand?

her clothes are inircate and expensive looking...his are not...and he wears a turban....

good stuff....any particular reason it has been drawn on wood...or is that a paper effect?

also whats with the neklaced she iswearing...it looks like it is weighing her down...almost like a yoke...does that symbolise something?

can you tell me where or more when this was made?

I have seen chinese paintings with a lot more elegancy and beauty.
It's looks really like naive art.
