Sarubobo Plush

So...I searched and saw no thread for these and I was wondering. Does anyone else find these adorably cute?

Sarubobo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They kinda remind me of a different version of those lucky cats. Seeing as how (and someone please correct me if this is wrong it's from Wiki so I dunno how legible it is) certain colors stand for different things.

Quote:

Blue sarubobo - for luck in study and work
Pink sarubobo - for luck in love
Green sarubobo - for luck in health
Yellow sarubobo - for luck in money
Black sarubobo - to remove bad luck
There is also a tutorial (mairuru: How to make Sarubobo plush) on how to make these and I just wanted to see if those color coordination things are actually true and/or correct.

Feel free to discuss :)

Hmm. I have no idea. This is the first time I've heard of them. I think I want to buy some though.

You know the stereotypical sweater you get on christmas your grandma made and it's really ugly and you have to wear it anyway? That's what a lot of people I've met think of the sarubobo. I haven't seen too many hanging off phones or bags here.

Aw, well I think they're absolutely adorable XD But I'm weird like that...might be because I've never seen them before I found those links XD
