My first post! Question about lettering for tattoo(I know, I know...)
 

Hi forum, I hope this is an appropriate place for this. I have decided that for my next tattoo, I want the word 'ROBOT' in Japanese lettering(sorry, I don't remember what it's called) on my forearm. The style I'd like, or font, is from the old Godzilla movie posters.



Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

How come everyone that makes a first post must announce that fact publicly, as if it isn't obvious by looking at the top of your post?

Just curious, what would be the meaning of this tattoo in Japanese? Japanese "robot" means the same thing in English. Are you a robotics engineer?

Yes, I'm an engineering student(might go into that field) but it's mostly because I have always loved everything robot.

De gustibus non est disputandum so here it goes:

ロボット - robot
人造人間 - cyborg, robot

or

スチールカラー　steel collar worker, robot

You may also consider 機械, which means "machine"
