Japanese Old prints.Need Help - 08-12-2011, 10:16 PM

I've got this prints from an old house in New York State. Can somebody tells me dates, names of the artist/s? Thank you very much

Thank you very much. So, both prints are made from same artist, corect? Thank you one more time. One more thing to let you know is that are original framed in Hong Kong.

Right, same artist.

I would not worry too much about where they were framed. Within Japan, Kuniyoshi's acclaim came mostly after his death, resulting in the outflow of many of his works from Japan.

This is not to promise, though, that what you own is from the original "first" batch. Unlike paintings where there is only one original, prints are numerous.
