can some one plese help me wear kimono properly? - 01-18-2008, 08:29 AM

no matter how hard i try i can
't tie my obi! i'm making a kimono for my 20th bday. when you turn 20 in japan traditionally you're an adult. so i wanted to make it special. can any one please tell me what i need exactly to keep it shut and look proper. it's black with pink,blue, and green butterflies lined with gold. it's real silk brocade. i'm pairing it with a gold obi. any suggestions on colors for te cords and scarfs?
