when straightening someone's hair and using a comb....
use the comb first...followed by the straightener.....

i did it the other way around and
melted my comb.....
now i have to buy a new one ='(

Ha ha that sux but yea if you use the straightener first then following the comb, then the hotness of your hair will melt it you know? But that sux. No wonder stylists do that. But I got my hair cut and straightened at the salon yesterday so yea. Hope you get a new comb and don't make the same mistake.

I never buy a straightener before and wonder if it really straighten well for the hair?

I got a straightener.. I just use it. It won't last long, not even for a day.
