Man, you guys have cool outfits! I wouldn't know where to get my clothes (Or how to make them without a pattern), but I want to cosplay BADLY. Anybody have some suggestions of where to get a cosplay that doesn't look completely fake? Or how to make one?

I've checked out the sites already put up, but I didn't really like any of it.

Lashy: maybe you can try find similar clothes to the character.. then try to remake it.. its really simple and dont need many pattern..

and i want to go as a anime character
i was thinking Haruhi Suzumiya or nurse joy from pokemon
but i dont no any sites
which can send to england !
i tryed ebay but my family doesnt trust it ~___~

I don't agree with AlanX, I've seen a ton of great western cosplayers.

Japan is well known for the creation of different anime/cartoons all over the world. It has become their pride wearing costumes of different anime characters, Some people can't really understand why do some Japanese people have to cosplay anime but we have our own opinion on things i guess it's just a matter of respect to their passion on this activity.
