glasses and bandanas -

hello everyone,
i'm Joe. i got a quick question. i notice alot of japanese artist wear bandanas on their heads and usually wear glasses is it a japanese fashion for artist. like i notice ranma 1/2's genma saotome, samurai showdonw's morozumi taizan and samurai x creator, nobuhiro watsuki. and is it just a japanese thing or korean and chinese artist wear them too. thank you all for your times. -Joe
