I find that if you're on a budget, you can always go to regular clothing stores and just look around for clothes that can be used for visual kei. However, I'd only really recommend this for people that actually know more about the style, since there's the chance that someone without much knowledge about visual kei may pick something they think would work when it wouldn't. (I've seen someone do that before, too.)

Wow.. I agree.. pretty extreme post there. I have to disagree. It's not about what race you are, it's about being able to make the style your own. Just because a person is white doesn't mean they have no style and lack any skill in putting on eyeliner. You need better than cheap emo clothes from Hot Topic and you need a good four hours for hair and makeup, but the VK look is definately attainable for white people. I'm as white as they come, Irish-American and I love dressing up VK style. I've even had Japanese people ask me if I'm part Japanese.

Try Demonia's shoes, this is a wholesale site but find the style you want and search for it on Ebay

The wonders of makeup my friend
And I'm sure being able to speak Japanese made a difference too...

Last name is not Murphy, first name is not Paddy, and not from Boston

I have VK clothes I'm selling, mostly Sex Pot Revenge and H Naoto. All clothes bought in Tokyo, some NWT, some worn a few times.

I'm also selling stuff from Lip Service, Tripp, Cyberdog, and Iron Fist. They're American companies but work for VK style. Sex Pot Revenge in Harajuku sells Lip Service and Tripp at their shop.

Product descriptions, photos, and prices available upon request.
