My doctor told me to stop drinking Mountain Dew, and I'd be fine lol I used to drink 6 dews a day...and that does cause acne. But I don't drink any sodas now and I'm nto sure it helped

Anyways, hopefully I can keep a consistancy in washing my face. I think that's my biggest problem...laziness

SO, ACNE, I HATE IT!!!!!!!! It pisses me off, everytime I see myself, I'm just like ugh...acne. I used to not really care but now it irritates me soo much, I want to get rid of it sooooo bad :'(

*dsicuss*
It can be caused my many things, hormones the most common which are a natural thing.

Some people get it worse than other's, whilst it can be a problem later on for the minority and leave scars.

As some have said, a clean face night and day is important, although this is not always the reason why you have acne, whilst severer cases will require a visit to a skin specialist for further tests.

Drugs and creams are available, it just depends on each individual case.

I would'nt be to concerned right now.

Cheers - Oz

Cleanse
Tone
Moisturise

3 simple steps
1)Get a good face cleanser-rince face with lukewarm water to get pore open
-scrub on face cleanser- rinse with cold water to close pores
[You're getting acne because crap is getting in easier]
2) Use a non alcohol based toner to help seal pores.
3) Moisturise your face to keep hydration in.

For the cleanser and a blemish[spot gel] I'd recommend tea tree.
If you've got money, I'd use more pricier products

Clinique is really good for young skin prone to acne
Shiseido Pureness Line is also great for young skin prone to spots.
Great advice Yinnie, this is what I do too.

If you are that concerned, go to the doctor. My brother is also on tablets for it too, and it has made a difference. He still has problems with them from time to time but they usually clear up a lot quicker than they used to.

Obviously, if you have acne, never use anything that's harsh, or it makes it a lot worse. Another good brand for that is 'Simple' it's good for sensative skin and cuts out all the crap, like perfume/colour and stuff. I have 'Simple' toner, which is the picture you posted previously Yinnie.

I wouldn't be too concerned either, but it is something you want to try to keep in check best you can.. I still have some pretty bad scarring from the acne I had back in the day.

that's half correct, but eating right won't get rid of the crap in your pores that get in everyday, airborne crap. Use a face scrub/toner and scrub your face, see how much icky yellow stuff comes out.

Your face is subjected to all sorts of things in the air. even if you eat right, stuff still gets in, which can, depending on your skin type, cause acne, and makes your face produce more sebum, hence oilier, prone to acne. =)
