Asian Afro

Hi! Do you know if there is a creme called "reggae perm" available that curls hair to an afro, just as Afros "relax" their hair to be straight?

I'm from Sweden, but i've read on the Internet that there is such a creme, and that it is "big" among japanese and koreans...

Can't tell you how happy i would be if anyone could help me!

Grettings from Sweden!

Welcome to JF.

Please word your question differently. I don't understand what you're asking.

Are you asking for a hair product that makes your hair "poofy?"

Hi, thanks for welcoming me! :)

I would like a product that makes my hair like this:

... Did you understand?

That would require a perm at a hairdresser.

His hair is naturally (very) curly.

I do not think a product that changes the actual composition of the structure of your hair exists.

You know who that is?

You said his hair is naturally very curly, which is pretty rare in native Japanese, so I guessed you knew who he was.

Most Japanese I have seen with this hairstyle spent a lot of money at a salon to get it this way.

Ah, I see.

Well, I was probably wrong. Hasn't been the first time.

I think it's either natural or he spent a pretty penny in a salon, but I don't think there is an actual product that can turn your hair from straight to that.
