Translate This Harajuku Girl's Face & Neck?
Can Anyone translate what's written on this girls neck and face?
|
Do you realize how hard it would be to even see that? Not to mention the amount that can't be seen because of her hair.
|
can anyone see any hiragana? :S

I am going to make a guess and say it might be Buddhist mantras like from the horror story Hoichi the Earless, but that is only because of the imagry, and not what it actually says.

I can't see any kana in that face either, MMM... I'm guessing what it says still makes sense without it? I know kana is not always needed.. Seen it on pictures of shrines etc.. but as a begginer Japanese learner it feels so weird looking at long streams of kanji like that with no kana to add definition or context. Maybe thats just me?
Either way, I lol'd when I saw OP's pic, and the one you posted, MMM - It reminded me of this: If you are unfamilliar with this face, click here for the news story. |
Traditional Buddhist mantras would not likely be easily understood by a non-monk who hadn't studied them.

I know less than 500 kanji so.. ofcourse I wouldn't easily understand.. Monk or not lol
Edit: after posting this I thought about how different my life could be if I was a monk.. No way! I'm too fond of my posessions and my girlfriend lol Can't imagine a life of celibacy! |
