Lightbulb Introducing My Tokyo: A Fashion & Design Shopping Guide! - 07-11-2010, 02:08 AM

Hello All!

I'm a textile and graphic designer from Sydney, soon to be based in the city I keep returning to - Tokyo. I'd love to share with you all a little project I've just finished, a visitor's fashion and design shopping guide to Tokyo:

This zine contains reviews of what I believe are some of the most unique fashion, design, interiors and lifestyle shops and contemporary art galleries in Tokyo. I'm a tragic shopaholic, and Tokyo is my favourite place to abuse my credit card. I can't wait to live over there and be amongst the innovative Japanese fashion scene, share new discoveries with you and bring the My Tokyo project to life!

You can find out more about the guide at this site.

Thanks for listening, I look forward to sharing ideas and info on these forums!

Eloise

Hi Vuongha,

Thanks very much for your kind feedback, though I’m not sure I understand what you mean because I don’t have any other goods, just this one-off zine that I’ve made myself!

My Tokyo now has its own website though (I have added to above post), so people can simply find out more about the guide or where to buy it if they wish.

Many thanks again!

I like the look of your zine, maybe I'll pick one up before my next Tokyo trip!

It sort of reminds me of the Tokyo shopping map from SuperFuture, which used to be free to view but now you have to pay $20 to view/download. They do update it frequently since a lot of shops open and close frequently. Since you are shopper you might want to look into it for your own fun!
