I think people would understand more if they wore them aswell, I don't think I could hang mine on the wall as I like wearing it too much :-)

It's a matter of pride and prestige for girls to own a Furisode. If daddy isn't rich enough to buy her a new one, he can always buy a second-hand. They usually half the price and up. They usually have tears, stains, pinholes and other blemishes. You can get some on Ebay.
