any thoughts?

It is saying a lot of things, what is it that inspired you to post it?

I don't think Japanese fashion is any less obsessed than most modern societies, it has shock-factor to foreigners but in all the countries I've lived young girls have been equally irrational about their looks.
Wouldn't you say?

well the thread on cosmetic surgery really but I thought this section was more appropriate. I find it fascinating myself.

please move if you think it should be elsewhere.

dogsbody. you should just make single topic dedicated for beauty instead of running one for each subject - cosmetic surgeries, nails, make-up etc.
would be easier to follow and wouldn't litter the forum as much.

dogsbody70 12-05-2010 05:07 PM

oh right maybe the moderator can put it elsewhere although I thought this was suitable.

Ileave it to the Mods.

That piece gives like 100 factoids. You asked for comments. I am wondering what about it inspired you to post it, that's all.

I find it most interesting and anyone else who is also curious about such things inJAPAN maybe will be interested. I like to learn as much as I can which is why I have many books also.

I don't live in Japan so sites such as that one gives a little more insight.

You may know it all already-- but I don't

obviously living there would be better but thats not going to happen for me so whats wrong with putting up websites that share information re JAPAN and its culture with its changes.
